Art Gallery and Jewelry

The Punahou Carnival Art Gallery is the largest art show in the state and a highlight of the Punahou Carnival. Featuring more than 1,000 artworks by nearly 300 Hawai‘i artists, the gallery includes paintings, prints, drawings, sculptures, ceramics and glass. Sales from each art piece will support Punahou Carnival’s fundraising efforts for student financial aid, with proceeds evenly shared between the artists and Punahou.

EK Fernandez Fun Pass Information

This year, there are two ways to pay for EK Fernandez Rides and Games at Punahou Carnival:
Using the EK Fernandez Fun Pass Digital App on a Smartphone or by purchasing Physical Fun Pass Cards.

How do I purchase EK Fernandez credits?

Option 1: Download the EK Fernandez Fun Pass app on your Smartphone

Download the EK Fernandez app using this QR code or click this url:
https://ekfernandez.sendrato.com/wallet/04B6A2C2010001
You may also search “EK Fernandez” in the app store. Next, set up your Fun Pass account. To ensure you are able to enjoy Carnival as soon as you arrive, we recommend you download the app in advance and set up your account.

Once the app is downloaded you’ll be able to purchase credits with a debit or credit card. You are able to use your credits at EK Fernandez rides and EK Fernandez games located under the white tent adjacent to the rides by scanning your digital card. Please be advised that there are no refunds so please be cautious when purchasing credits.

Option 2: Purchase a physical Fun Pass card

EK Fernandez will also be selling physical cards at the 3 Fun Pass Trailers located around the midway. There’s a minimum purchase of $20 plus a one-time $2 card fee ($22 total). Any amount $20 or more may be purchased with cash, a credit card, or a debit card. Discover cards and Venmo are not accepted. Credits may only be redeemed at EK Fernandez rides and EK Fernandez games located under the white tent adjacent to the rides by scanning your physical card’s QR code.

Fun Pass Trailers will open at 10:30 a.m. both days.

How do I load more credits to my card?

Option 1: Purchase credits on the app

More credits may be purchased through the Fun Pass app and added to your digital card.

If you are using a physical Fun Pass card and wish to reload via the app, you may link your physical card to the app and purchase more credits.

Alternatively, more credits may be loaded to the card at the Fun Pass trailers with cash or card .

Am I able to use an old Fun Pass card?

EK Fernandez is using a new payment system, so old Fun Pass cards will no longer be accepted, and they are no longer able to transfer credits. If you have a new card (paper or plastic) from last year with the purple Fun Pass logo pictured above, those are still valid and can be reloaded in person or via the app.

What fees apply?

A one-time activation fee of $1 will apply upon initial purchase. This fee is already included in the $2 card fee for physical cards. In-app purchases also incur a 3.2% + 40¢ convenience fee per transaction.

Examples of credit conversions:

$1 = 10 credits

$5 = 50 credits

$10 = 100 credits

$20 = 200 credits
